New to Ankara - in Aug.
I'll be moving to Ankara in Aug. to teach as part of a Fulbright Teacher Exchange. Looking forward to getting settled in and exploring. I'm in my early 40's, athletic, & want to know if I should bring my snowboard...
Looking for a yoga studio and wondering if there is a Crossfit group in Ankara...

Stop wondering, and bring it over.

Hi maf, there's plenty of snow and places to fall down in the winter.

Welcome mafzal. Where are you from and what will you teach? Ankara is all right, unlike disastrous 'Bul. Full of civilised and granola people that do cross fitting and all kinds of other DIY and new age stuff. You'll enjoy it.

Hello Maf from someone who actually lives in Ankara. We are a small group on the EiT forum but there are quite a few foreigners hanging around in the city. Make sure you post when you arrive and I'm sure us Ankara EiT people can welcome you (at a pub of course). And yes, bring the snowboard.
