Can you do a better intro than that? You sound like a used car salesman. No insult intended, but if you want to talk to peeps, then give a little.

Maybe, Jonny, that's the perfect introduction? An introduction to fall in love with. Award-worthy. Welcome, Snob, I fell in love with you.

Ok then.
Jonny - I'm dashingly handsome, hugely intelligent, massively endowed, an artist of renown, a lover of great repute, a philosopher of all things and a bloke. If I were to sell used cars, they would be of a certain vintage, silver, and have been driven by a Mr. Bond (Scottish of course). I am here in the city of Istanbul to learn about water and electricity shortages and to expand my mind, if that's possible. To sum up I would like to paraphrase my muse, Mr. Oscar Wilde, "Life is far too important a thing ever to talk seriously about". Which should, I hope, excuse my sense of self-importance. I'm here on behalf of an international company, to look into whether they should open an office in Turkey. I'm in the middle of age, between 6'0" and 6'3", depending on my stoop, I like food....copious amounts of food, and I enjoy slothfulness. I drive very badly, so I'll fit in very well here, I drink beer by the barrel, dress to the left, and talk utter nonsense during every waking moment.
Utabe - What can I say? Of course you did, you clever girl.
Bodrum Chic - Who is RSA? Is he also a long-term snob?
Spine - A snob is simply someone who thinks they are better, The Snob, knows it.

As RSA has only just become of age, I'm not sure he's old enough to be considered a 'long-term' snob and I'll leave you to make your own decision when you inevitably meet him. I was actually referring to the fact that you said you were in used condition and the reason for that will also become obvious in time.
This is a good place to start

Mr. Snob,
Enjoyed the colorful intro. Welcome to the community and good luck with your study of the water and electricity (or lack of). You have your work cut out for you.
