Hi - new member from London/Istanbul
Hi there!
I just discovered this forum while searching re. how or where to catch the rugby semi-final (word had come through that England had made it to the semi-finals) - excellent stuff! Not that I'm a mega-fanatic or anything, but I do have fond memories of a fry-up and champagne breakfast while feasting on the performance of Wilko and Co during the last world cup final.
I was in the UK then: I was born there of an English mum and Turkish dad, came here when I was five, went back at 15, and stayed there after that - bar a stint of doing military service here. I live with my (English) wife and our two daughters.
They have been here for about two years now; I came over first, and have been here for more like three years.
Absolutely thrilled that there is such a forum - I look forward to chatting to you guys!

Hi there Cengiz and welcome. I am definitely going to be watching the rugby somewhere on Saturday. I watched the France game in the James Joyce on Saturday and there were loads of French people there so the atmosphere promises to be quite good there this week if you are up for it.
Enjoy the forum. Pablos.

A) As you should be and B) you'll soon regret it. That makes you perfect for joining. Welcome. No - honestly.
The others will ask more relevant stuff before too long, we're just the welcoming committee so you don't feel sad
