Hello all.

I'm currently in the US. Wife is Turkish and we are planning a move back there shortly. We go every summer when the kids are out of school. Finally, this last trip convinced us to commit to moving back to be closer to family. I'm sure the forums will offer a lot of help in the planning.

Thanks for the offer . I'm sure I'll be needing some help as the time approaches. My relocation will not be to Ist., but to the Mersin - Adana area. Family (wife's and mine) still in that area. It's not going to have all the creature comforts of say Ist, but I'll manage. Not looking forward to sifting through the classifieds either. EiT has really been alot of help already. Enormous amounts of personal experiences here that eliminate some of the gray area, and answer some questions that a Turkish national wouldn't be able to help with. If I get my way, I'll just be working on my tan, going from beach to beach on my motorcycle. Maybe wishful thinking, but that's what I'm shooting for. Not sure how the wife will take to this plan yet. I'll have to let her in on it before the move.

First step is to get my wife a job to bring home some bacon. Then get the family to rotate around a good babysitting schedule and its time to hit the beach.
