 Hi there - Mancunian in Istanbul Hi all,
I'm 29yr old guy from Manchester. I have just started a new project in Istanbul and I'm keen to get involved with a regular football game or two. I work with Ranjit and he recommended the forum as a good place to start. I'm looking forward to signing up to one of the Saturday games so I'll see you on the pitch and maybe for a beer afterwards.

Hi Mike - thanks for the welcome. I don't really support a team anymore for various reasons I won't bore you with here. I still enjoy watching good football (I'm thinking in the style of Maradona, Ronaldinho, Zidane, Ronaldo) but not as much as I enjoy playing it.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.
My avatar is Rocky Balboa - I recently watched Rocky for the first time in ages and forgot how good it was so I thought a pic of Balboa was as good as any other. 
I have looked at the sports threads and I will be signing up for a game Saturday after next if one is available.
