Two years and few days more
Hi, I moved to Istanbul couple of years ago, originally Czech but have lived all around. I live in Besiktas, am BJK fan and teach politics

 Welcome to Besiktas!
Dear Lucie,
Miguel (my husband) and I live in Besiktas as well. We live near Abaas Aga Parki. We often have a tea at the Ceviz Cafe (at the top of the park). We like to talk politics though we don't understand much about what's happening in Turkey. Where do you teach politics? We have another friend, Titziana, an Italian journalist, who's also in the neighborhood. Best wishes, Nassim (you can email me directly via my website, nassimassefi.com) if you'd like.

Hallo,
thank you for the reply, would like to join one day. I teach at Fatih University, my area is mostly European politics as Turkish politics is rather complicated to grasp fully What do you and your husband do?

 freelancers in Istanbul
I'm a doctor who is writing my 2nd novel, and my husband is studying Turkish until he figures out what is the next big work project he will undertake.
Hope to see you around Besiktas, Nassim

Hi Lucie,
welcome to the forum. I am sure it will add some excitement to your life here, even though you have lived in Istanbul for a while.
Hope to see you around.

Did not have much choice really, my boyfriend is a BJK football fan and my brother is a BJK basketball fan I only hate the stadium when stuck in the traffic there

For Türk Telekom people we only have bonus screw drivers, I'm afraid.
