cool. well.... i will probably meet you during the week of the 27th ... the elem and middle school teachers dont always end up meeting the high school teachers right away bc we are different buildings and have different meetings, ect
but since you are probably in school housing i am sure we will meet up eventually that way
or come by the english office and introduce yourself to the high school staff
good luck with the move
and glad to have you aboard.. i am sure all will go well
perhaps we can attend the september meet up together

 Not as free as I thought.... Well, here I was all excited to be kid-free and it turns out that I actually have to do a ton of stuff for this darn Certificate course I'm doing.... But after August 27th a uniting of Uskudarian forces would be convenient for me.....

I will be working in the English prep program actually (not really middle school, not really high school as I understand it) so I think that puts us in the same building. Any last minute packing advice for me  ? I'll see you soon!

Welcome Erin!
I hope you enjoy Istanbul and living in Uskudar. I used to live there and didn't have much fun but now I find out that there's a crowd of people I could have hung out with! Wish I'd known about EiT back then (if it even existed ...).
Re yoga - check out http://www.yogafinder.com for classes in Istanbul - there are about 4 places on the Asian side.
Have fun with the prep programme - I'm gearing up for the new term at Kadir Has Uni and frankly there are worse ways to earn money!
