Post hi you outthere beween those 13mio people
great to find your community - so far I just found some wps like "die brücke" ist this a religious page? and some other strange ones.... hope this will be more crazy!
arrived in Istanbul 3 month ago, but had due to a previous carcrash to rearrange my disks in the spine - so guess now Iam ready for it!
so anyone who is interested in art etc would be great to do things together...
also have a dog (who is pretty bored at the moment altough his carreer is going well so he now is a garden owner) he seems really pissed that he can not go shopping, ride the bus etc withme anymore - so anyone with girlsdogs -we could let the dogs out together (polonesköy etc.) I am living on the asian side near to acerkent/beykoz area...
cu soon

Welcome Grenadine. Maybe our dogs could get in touch and take us for a walk at Şile beach. Die Brücke is a club for German women that are married to Turkish men. The aim of their regular meetings is to discuss details about jumping from one of the Bosporus bridges (hence the name). They have other funny events as well.

Hi Grenadine,

welcome to this site and to Istanbul. Where are you from originally and what brought you here. We are a pretty mixed bunch of people so there won't be a problem to fit in.

Welcome to Istanbul and to the Forum, Grenadine!

From which corner of the world are you coming actually? I'm sure that you'll enjoy your life here.

Uta, I heard that they haven't done it yet because they are not agreeing from which bridge they should jump.. it seems to be a tough choice indeed... both of them have a gorgeous view...

i somehow got relocated by life from Austria, Vienna - city of wine and strong spirits. unfortunately we did not smuggle enough ... so a bottle a day now has to be substituted by daily mojitos! my husband (i am 30 so just recently wed, still sounds like granny business to me) got a job offer in istanbul from his company so after finishing some projects in V-town I came along too. kind of expected it to be more S-european spirited (relax, think, drink, be philosophical....)
what are you guys here for? as you are not from the bridge jumping division (but I still think the B believe that the bridges are Adams ribs or something similar)

Uta: sile sounds good - do you have your banana farm there? as I could not send you my phone number by private message as I am too much greenhorn to the forum, what does your doggies blackberry think about thursday or friday?

welcome. Think you will find less of the "relax, think, drink, be philosophical" and more of the "relax, think, stare blankly, argue" all mixed with a good mixture of paranoid conspiracy theories heartily believed by the populace.

hey uta: sorry to say that my dognose is already fully booked for sunday. So just give us some info to verygrenadine@gmx.at whenever you guys feel for a stroll next week or so. if your dogesse is a late evening worker you can also just come for some garden playtime to our house (and a mojito of course)...
