I agree with banana - I couldnt upload an avatar either. And they were def. under the size limit. Tried a few times actually.
If there are any Wizkids out there on the admin side - please could u do one for me! Actually dont bother! have seen the pranks you play on each other!
But one of a dog would be good! ..or a gun! or both!

You want one of a dog? How about one of Flo then, he was a bit of a bowser wasn't he? Seriously, we are working on it but time, as always, is the issue. Carlo has been grafting away at it recently and thought it was sorted  although it obviously isn't. Our new server is a lot more secure than our previous and it's issues relating to the increased security levels that are causing the problems. We will do our best over the next few days/week to resolve this for you folks who cant live without dodgy custom avatars...  JF

JF server security, as John stated, is of the issue here however is something other forum administrators with the phpBB software are coming up against as well as more and more hosting providers are tightening up security on their host servers. the fault lies within the phpBB software * and we will have to wait whilst the bugs will be fixed 'professionally' by smart guys from phpBB. meanwhile ExpatinTurkey.com has provided a patch that works! allowing you to upload your custom avatars. there is nothing left for us to do over the next coming time trying to resolve this because it already has! avatar uploading works!on that note, this topic has now been locked.
