 chat capabilities? *ducking*
Is there a reason why we don't have a chatroom? OK, I'll go away now...before the rotten veggies hit my poor defenseless newbie bod.
I'm sure it's a heavily hated topic, but I do love to chat and it would be great to chat with those whose brains I want to pick. Call me vulturous.... no, make that voluptuous!

We have no plans for a chat room. There is always MSN.

You wanna chat... find some friends and use MSN or whatever chat client you want. There will *not* be a chat facility on here. Ever.

Well, that was why I ducked. Consider it a forgettable question from a newbie, PLS!

EiT is not anti-chat et all. that's why for example you can record your screen name for the four major chat clients in your profile. that way any one who'd like to engage into a chat session can do so with their favourite client. whether you use Yahoo!, MSN Messenger, Trillian, Jabber or Miranda it really doesn't matter. we believe we don't have anything 'real' to add as a forum Web site to any of the chat clients out there, that's why we save ourselves the trouble of doing so. besides we have based our decision on similar Websites like EiT who *do* offer a chat program, only to find that there are never ever any people in the chat-rooms on those sites. such a waste of bandwidth which i have to remind you comes at a premium.
