You can reset the clock yourself by going into profile and updating your profile to be +3 GMT

Yes, big time thanks to FD and everyone else who keeps this forum running. If it weren't for you guys, us lazy bastards who just want an easy way to hook up with some other yabanciler for some beers and conversation would actually have to work at it!

@gilly when you say 'time out' do you mean database connection error or does the connection just simply time out? time outs could be caused by a multitude of reasons as your page request to the server passes many hops before reaching said server. the best way to verify is to try to contact the site from another ISP / location.

after your message i have set up monitoring at approx. every 20 minutes and have so far 100% availability. unfortunately minute-by-minute monitoring is too expensive for EiT.

@jyrays do you have an exact description as to what the error message of the server/ your browser was? just the words Gateway time out makes me think this is not our server timing out but rather the Gateway server that connects your computer to the Internet. for most people this would be the ISP dns server. any domain names or IP numbers you could provide us with the next time?

thanks for the feedback guys!

FD

It does not show for some reason but it's a round of applause![/quote]

a belated reply but above post just came back to me when reading another post by you also showing the textual format for the laughing emoticon i.e. lol. the reason is that you have set the following option in your profile:
    Always enable Smilies No
if above option is set to 'Yes' you will be able include emoticons as a graphic rather then text.
