 How about a neighborhood section? Restaurants, friendly and not so friendly merchants, etc. tagged to specific neighborhoods in the Big I? Starting with Cihangir...

Bit of a misleading title for a section isn't it? You've obviously already created the ultimate forum which can, in no way whatsoever be improved with the introduction of other peoples ideas.
I didn't think it was such a bad idea actually, a courteous explaination of why it wasn't possible was the least it deserved.

Started a Cihangir thread for those of us who live there.
Thought it was a nice idea actually as some places do have a certain feel and type of person living there.
Like those who choose to live in Asia around Moda, those up towards Bebek, those in Ulus, or the Balat and Galata dwellers.
