Post Question for administrators
I'm trying to post pics of the Saturday EiT football matches and the gatherings afterwards, but I keep running into the quota. Is there a way to get my quota increased? Thanks!

I haven't reached the dizzy heights of an administrator but this might help if you read through it.

Timi -- the admins have re-assessed the server space available to us and are of the opinion that the current image upload quotas need to remain the same [unfortunately]. on the assumption that one-third of our member base would make use of the possibility of uploading photos to our servers we need to reserve one-third of our storage space leaving us little headroom to facilitate the ever increasing database of this forum.

of course as a predominantly online forum community website run on little to no money at all we are hardly a match to the likes of Google image or Flickr. keeping your images on EiT will mean you ought to rotate them in your personal gallery on say a weekly basis. however i would suggest any one who'd like to keep large quantities of images online for sharing purposes to open a Flickr account. and of course tell others about it on here ;-)

Thanks, FD, I understand about the server space. Is there a way I can delete the pictures I've added to the public People section so that I can post newer ones? I see an edit button for them, but not a delete button...

Meanwhile I'll post on my personal gallery and rotate the pics, as you suggest. And I'll check out Flickr too...

Thanks again for your answer!

deletion of pictures from public sections is done by the admins. one of us will delete your pictures from the People section before next saturday's match. thus everyone who would still like to grab a copy better hurry because they may be gone next time you look ;-)
