 Turkish characters in subject
Is it a known issue that some (?) Turkish characters in the subject line go all wonky when a post is submitted? I tried to write Bostancı in the subject of my last post and some gibberish appeared so I changed it to Bostanci.

It happens a lot in email as well..... Kadıoğlu gets translated to KadıoÄlu for instance..... for me it seems to happen when i send an email from my western Europe based character set to another user who is using Turkish character set. Something to do with Unicode i think. zzzzzzzzzzz

Yup, we know about it and it is on our "to do" list. It's just one of those jobs that has always ended up being pushed to the back of the queue when more urgent matters have taken up what spare time FD and I have.
We'll try and look at it again soon(ish).
