 2012 Doomsday
I had the misfortune of watching this movie last night, having acquired the DVD yesterday. I was really looking forward to a good bit of escapism especially after reading the tag-line:
"For the Mayans it is the last recorded day, for Nasa scientists it is a cataclysmic polar shift; for the rest of us, it is Doomsday"
It is nothing more than an extremely low budget (about $100 as far as I can tell) modern Christian tale. I've nothing against anybody's beliefs, but this did not do the movement any favours whatsoever.
Ham (bad that is - not Noah's son) acting, very poor special effects and a storyline that wouldn't trouble a 7 year old.
I should have realised how bad it was going to be when I saw it was written by Faith Films.
