Ooooh!
Hubby, daughter, and I saw it this afternoon. I was more impressed by the movie theater than I was the movie, but it was still good. Maybe it's just our theater in Caddebostan--all stadium-style seating, and the topmost row is little love-seat-type things with room for two to sit/snuggle comfortably. I loved the intermission--just the right timing to potty, get more popcorn and Pepsi. All in all, a much better theater-going experience than I'm used to in the US.
As far as the movie goes, it's been several years since I read the book, but I noticed some major themes missing, particularly the "I'm not a giant" theme with the French girls' teacher. I see the movies tending to be further off from the books as they go and Rowling's writing style grows with her audience.
So that's my opinion, worth every kurus you paid for it.
