Saw it last night at Suadiye and it was amazing! There were sitting-on-the-edge-of-your-seat moments and even some looking-through-your-fingers scenes - definitely more adult than all 3 before, but still no nudity (not THAT kind of adult!)... I think it'd even be entertaining for those who didn't read the books - a bit like Lord of the Rings (never read those but still loved the movies!). I highly recommend this film!

Seen it a couple of weeks ago and still of the opinion that it's not the best Harry Potter movie.

Weak characterisation and a fairly shallow storyline compared to the book. Came away thinking they could have done so much more (and still kept it under 180mins running time), but for whatever reasons didn't.

Yes, great special effects and solid performances from the usual suspects but not a classic by any means. Probably more enjoyable to those who hadn't read the book.

Besides the last 15 mins of the second one I haven't taken a liking of the potter mass merchandising.

Sadly I fall for the machinations of the same hype juggernaut every friggin time.

I was trying not to sleep through the last potter it was a mighty diffucult thing to do.

Babam ve Oğlum is next for me and Derya.

Ooooh!

Hubby, daughter, and I saw it this afternoon. I was more impressed by the movie theater than I was the movie, but it was still good. Maybe it's just our theater in Caddebostan--all stadium-style seating, and the topmost row is little love-seat-type things with room for two to sit/snuggle comfortably. I loved the intermission--just the right timing to potty, get more popcorn and Pepsi. All in all, a much better theater-going experience than I'm used to in the US.

As far as the movie goes, it's been several years since I read the book, but I noticed some major themes missing, particularly the "I'm not a giant" theme with the French girls' teacher. I see the movies tending to be further off from the books as they go and Rowling's writing style grows with her audience.

So that's my opinion, worth every kurus you paid for it. :)

Glad I wasn't the only one to see the glaring omissions in this movie
