Looking for extras for a feature film shoot
Hi guys
We need 5 male and 5 female extras for tomorrow (04-11-2006) to be American soldiers in a Turkish feature film coming out early next year. Non speaking parts. Pays 75YTL for the day. Reply to this posting if you are interested.

I'm not sure on the gun part. The scene will be shot near the Istanbul Hilton tomorrow from 10am till 4ish but we are all meeting at AKM in Taksim square. Let me know if you are interested before turning up though.

 Update
Quick Update. It appears that the location will be on the Asian side instead of near the Hilton. Either way we are still meeting at AKM at 10am.

 Postponed
Hi Guys
I have just received news that the shoot is postponed as they couldn't get either of the locations that they wanted for tomorrow. It will probably go ahead next weekend, but I will update this thread once it is fixed.

Sounds a strangely badly organised feature film, not exactly Saving Private Ryan is it!

I might be up for it as long as the film isn't in the ''Kurtlar Vadisi: Iraq'' vein.

Hey Peter,
4-5 of my female colleagues and I will be on hand Sunday (all brits and yanks). Please sms me the new time and meet up when it is confirmed. Do we come dressed in camouflage?

Peter (and all who are plannign to be extras),
A friend met one of the actors in that film last night who said he had to drop out "when a gun firing blanks blew a hole in his skull 6 weeks ago". Apparently it was in the news. I dont know his name.
Can anyone help confirm this? He (a Julliard grad) said that there was no lawsuit because Turkish standards of business are not the same as US.
He did confirm it was a comedy, (appraently not like another KURTLAR VADISI), but nevertheless, if this did happen, I don't think I can commit to it.
