Post Margaret Thatcher movie planned
Now, knowing how many of you right wing conservative republican facists love the Iron Lady, who would you like to see play her?

I would like to see Salma Hayak to make it watchable for me.

For a double in the looks and voice dept. Faith Brown would be ideal

Not her .. Faith Brown was an impersonator from the 80's (UK), famous for her Thatcher impressions, she looked remarkably like this

Actually that's a load of crap her name was Janet Brown

It sounds like an interesting project, but one has to be careful with these documentary/dramas as they can go either way. I wish they'd just make a straight drama.

Do you think it could be as successful as 'The Queen'?

It sounds like it will be a different type of film from The Queen, which is a completely fictionalised account, whereas this project is a mixture of fact (newsreel footage), and fiction.

The Queen was a mixture of fact (newsreel footage), and fiction, wasn't it?

I think Helen Mirren would be good as Margaret Thatcher or the old biddy from cold feet.

She would no doubt refuse the role ; not wanting to be typecast as a British boiler

Finally a serious role for Goldie Hawn?

Or perhaps something from De Niro or Dustin Hoffman to get their teeth into?

It was a drama with news footage within the context of the story. This project will be a documentary with dramatised bits.
