Yes, I saw the departed too. Leonardo was not handsome at all, he looked like a psycho to me
And, I didnt like the end. A different thought of justice... In my opinion, not bad not good, just will do....

 Perfume
10 days ago, while we were still in the UK we had the opportunity to go and see the legendary books' movie. My pleasure was beyond words. It was just great. The birth scene and everything everything... Including the Dustin Hoffman character.
Just the very last scene was a bit unsatisfactory and I was expecting the main character to be a bit uglier and more like a creep.
Please do go and watch as soon as it is showing here. I may go again or buy a DVD to keep.
Brilliant.

 Perfume
I too loved the book but found it more disturbing than the movie. The movie just wasn't dark enough, didn't leave any rancid tastes and I think the romping scene went on slightly too long. Lots of squirming maggots. I think the point about having no smell could have been emphasised more. Great movie though...
...Unlike The Holiday which was so loved-up Love Actually #2 that I wanted to kill myself at all those happy lovey dovies
Next up is The Science of Sleep.

I remember that scene being told to its very details, and to me it was the right balance. Although it may be more disturbing for some people so it may seem longer. But it was meant to be disturbing and if u can catch this by the length of the scene, I think it did the trick.
Oh, I do wanna see the hollidayyyssss... Loved up is goood. I loved "Love Actually", too.
The Science of Sleep... vow! very attractive name. Interested.

Admittedly, it's a huge genre.
You are correct, mind.

Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. Now showing on Movie Max. Saw it before on a flight so missed all the good bits. It's absolutely brilliant.

Saw "Volver" over the weekend. Two thumbs up! It's all about women and their relationships, lots of twists and turns in the plot. The men in their lives are/were scumbags...but maybe guys would like it just to stare at Cruz.

Uncharacteristically, Jennifer Connelly does not get her tits out in Blood Diamond. I have never been more disappointed in my life.
