Good date movie, big chance of getting laid, after watching it.

I finally saw Black Diamond last night. Excellent. Such a high level of intensity throughout the film- pretty exhausting actually.

Il, Decameron
Classic, enough has been said about this movie.
It's actually not -that- extreme, I liked it.

Was it impossible to watch? Thinking about seeing it for the epicness of it (great word editor) but not too keen on the sacrificial bits.
Incidently I've got The Science of Sleep, Ten and Notes on a Scandal sitting on my desk for this week - courtesy of a great place in Besiktas that I can't promote but which sells good/unusual stuff that always works for YTL5, presented in a proper case too...ooeeerr.

Cheesey, slightly funny but I find watching Drew Barrymore off-putting due to her lop-sided mouth when she talks - like Tom Cruise's missus. Odd.

 Copying Beethoven
its a film about a young Conservatory student composer accepting a job as a copyist for Ludwig von Beethoven(Ed Harris)In this movie he doesnt look like ed Harris and its not just beacuse of the hair. Its the performance.
Beethoven is finishing up the 9th Symphony. He's sick, deaf..His producer sends a young music student named Anna(diane kruger) to copy Beethoven's new work.
There is a great talk about the meaning of art and the role of musicians, and lots of wonderful music.

Perfect strangers - a real disappointment and a very very stupid ending. Have to agree with Batgirl

I didn't like Spider-Man III. Way too many story lines, English Lit 101-type metaphors, and pedestrian metatextual commentary on the franchise and the fans. Possibly the worst aspect of the film (apart from Kirsten Dunst, and the incongruous comedy-dance routine at the Jazz Club) was the obvious fact that the studio was more authoritative in the making of this one than they were in the last two. That's not a problem as long as a film works, but this one doesn't. One could feel Sony's ubiquitous presence at every turn, influencing characters (Raimi never wanted to use Venom, and said so repeatedly), entire plots and even make-up (the actors very rarely have their masks on, for example).
It doesn't even compare with the brilliance of the second flick.
