Post Galatasaray from Kadikoy-Kozyatagi
Thursday I am attending G'saray-Sion for the UEFA Cup first round. I need to work till 6pm and my job is in Kozyatagi. Does anyone know if there are busses going straight to Mecidiyekoy or Galatasaray stadium? If not, alternatively I must know how to get to Taksim and take the metro from there to go to the stadium.

PS: not sure if the game is sold out, a friend of mind arranged me my ticket. 35 Liras only and a free Galatasaray shirt donated by him 8)

Why dont you try the iett website to answer your bus queries http://www.iett.gov.tr/en/index.php . In terms of buses if you get one to Mecidiyeköy then just get off at the bus station there and walk down the road with the flyover on top and the stadium is on your right. If your going from Taksim the metro station is in Taksim Square across the road from where the bus drops off, take the metro a couple of stops to Şişli-Mecidiyeköy and follow the signs towards the Mecidiyeköy exit and carry on walking down the road (with the flyover above) and again you will find the stadium on your right about 5 minutes later.

Hey Gerrit,

129K goes from Kozyatagi straight to Mecidiyekoy. It takes off from the E-5 highway, at the pedestrian overpass in front of Icerenkoy Carrefour. From there, it takes the E-5 across the Bogaz Koprusu, directly to Mecidiyekoy. Busses run every 15-20 minutes.
