Post Istanbul stadium guide
Maybe it'd be a good idea to list the roads (public transport included) to the different stadiums and back. Teams like Galatasaray and Belediyesispor play during evenings mostly and it can be a hassle to get back home. Maybe it'd be a good idea to compose a sort of stadium guide including the routes?

Doesn't the route depend where you are starting from, it is not exactly hard to find Fenerbahçe (just go to Kadıköy) Beşiktaş (go to Dolmabahçe/Kabataş) and Galatasaray (go to Mecideyköy) stadiums so are you meaning smaller clubs or how to get to the Olympic Stadium?

Maybe Gerrit can help produce the EiT Super Duper Bumper Book Of Answers with nice pop-ups of Istanbul football stadiums, ferry routes and bus services.

I'll start:
Guide to Ankara's 19 Mayis stadium.
Go to Kizilay
Find Chopin Bar
Follow me, FD and Spine to taxi rank
Watch Genclerbirligi get beaten up
Sorted.

A proper guide would include not just the routes but also a collection of photos and such. I haven't been at Galatasaray yet but I could write and upload some stuff on BJK and Fenerbahce (and Maltepespor if anyone'd be interested)

by the way,

1) where do Kasımpaşa and İstanbul Belediyespor are playing?

2) going to European side through the 1st Bridge, there's a stadium just on the right before the bridge, which team's playing there?

Kasımpaşa play in the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Stadium in Beyoğlu, apart from some big games at the Olympic Stadium, gave directions in a previous thread.

İstanbul Belediyespor play at the Olympic Stadium. Dont know about the club next to the bridge but know the stadium you mean.

That ground is in Uskudar if I am not wrong, but I am not sure which team is playing there.

To get back from Olympic Stadium, is there late night busses back into the city?

The stadium you're referring to is Beylerbeyi 75 Yil Stadı, home to 3rd division Beylerbeyi A.Ş.

Ah, great Burbaco. After 2 years I got to which team that stadium belongs! 3rd division.. pity for Beylerbeyi, the stadium is not bad!

Geordiedave, thanks for the tip. I missed that thread. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Stadium is quite odd though..
