Oz Kanka's post is what actually happened to England on Saturday.
Before I get accused of sour grapes, South Africa were the better team and deserved to win. Our boys showed enough fight for me not to feel too bad about it though.

That is pretty much the sentiment I understood from all the English I watched the match with.

Yes exactly, SA were strong, but England didnt give up,however i would like to say that had the try been given( which it should have done since his foot was not on the ground outside the line) and then presume we also got the conversion it would have been a differnet story maybe even a list minute drop kick would have done it again.....never mind though its too late for 'what if's' and actually that was the feeling after the game, at the after game party the players banned the words ' what IF'.........a few of us were in Paris and a couple of us managed to get tickets (one was me !) the whole thing was awesome !, and i can tell you that the french really put on a good world cup, the facilities they provided (Rugby village and many beer & entertainment tents ) atmosphere before, during and after the game was all just incredible !

I don't want to whinge - South Africa did an England on us and beat us, I agree lets not talk about what if's.
Whinge alert:
However I get annoyed when people say stupid things, in this article the Video Ref claims he is 100% happy: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/rugby_union/7055964.stm
"His foot runs into touch by about 25 to 30 centimetres. If you know the decision is correct and people are still upset, well there is nothing you can do about that is there?"
My left buttock was his foot 25-30 centimetres in touch, I assume he means millimetres.
Anyway, enough pontificating and lets just congratulate South Africa on a great campaign and win and France on hosting a fabulous world cup!
