Post Running for Charity--Oger Antalya Marathon, 02.03.08
Hello Everyone,

After running and raising money for Team in Training for 2 years I have moved to Turkey. Last year, me and 5 of my running friends have set up a non-profit organization called Adim Adim.
We are trying to introduce the concept "running for charity" to Turkish runners.

On 2 March 2008 we'll run the Oger Antalya Marathon, half marathon and 10K. We are raising money for TOFD ( a Turkish charity looking after individuals who are bound to a wheelchair)

We are training together on Saturdays at Belgrad Forest. Feel free to contact me at ib219@yahoo.com for more information.

You can also visit our website http://www.adimadim.org/english.htm

To sign up for Oger Antalya Marathon visit http://www.oger-maraton.com/

Best,

Itir Erhart

Hi Itir- I know you and you are lovely (as is your jazz piano playing American husband, Curtis); but you might want to write a brief formal introduction to the "introduction" section of the site to avoid attracting the anger of the mods/admins.

JC

ps "trying to introduce the concept "running for charity" to Turkish runners" is an excellent cause if ever there was one.

pps sorry I can't PM this to you as you do not have enough posts.

Hi Itir - and I know someone who's running with you: John.

Adim Adim looks like a great organisation.

Hello Itir,
yes we know you, as JC says, from many encounters in Belgrade forest. But give the others a chance to know you also by introducing yourself properly.
