Sporting banter: are you Australian or French?
Oh what a good week of sport...
Any comments from the French members of the forum on Les Bleues spectacular performance in the rugby against Argentina and in the football against Scotland (there's only one James McFadden, and he plays for Everton...)?
Likewise, any comments from the sportingly proud Aussies on the Crickeroos wonderful result in the 20/20 World Cup against Zimbabwe?

Zimbabwe beating us Aussies in the 20-20 bash thing is a lot worse than Argentina beating France. Have to admit though, I'm loving this month, I'm almost camped at the pub.

JC, remove your post IMMEDIATELY, we were lulling them into a false sense of security. We don't want the mighty Zimbabwe getting through to the next round, in much the same way that we will probably lull South Africa and the rest of the Rugby watching public into a false sense of security tonight.
Hmmmm, should I wear the South African shirt my friends bought me or my England shirt tonight?

It is rare but tonight I will be supporting the Poms, the regulars at the Red Lion Club will no doubt be very surprised, especially as I decided to show up today for the cricket once I'd realised we were walking it in.

And from your avatar you are a muppet and also romantically attached to Miss Piggy which must cause problems in an Muslim country.
Any Argentinians on the boards?
