Gees ! Such arrogance...such offensiveness...such looking down on others.
'A small no. of fans booing the Greek national anthem yesterday' ??!! BS, man...it was quite bad....nowhere as bad as it was before the Turkey-Switzerland match but still quite shameful. It wasn't a small no. at all.
So....anyway, I won't get into any more war of words with you on this issue. You can have the last say, if you wish.

Did anyone notice that whenever Turkey plays their matches without any supporters they win...
they were banned for 5 home matches and played behind closed stadiums...and won!!!
are we safe to assume that the Turkish soccer team get intimated by their own fans!? or how does one figure out that input!?

Quote: at least Emre avoided any "arm gestures" last night
On the contrary, there was a playground arm gesture which earned him a needless yellow card.
That being said, he has been the only one on the pitch who has shown any heart in the last 2 matches.

I missed that - I was switching between the Scotland game (%^&!!!!) and the Turkey game.

One interesting thing about the whole hostility reputation that Turkish crowds have, the "welcome to hell" etc... it was of huge advantage for Genclerbirligi a few years ago in the UEFA Cup. Watching Blackburn coming out you could almost sense the fear that their players had. Us Gencler fans were singing our normal songs, nothing threatening at all, but it was in Turkish of course and Tugay was the only opposition player who could understand. For the English players we could well have been singing "you are all going to die tonight". But the fear factor put Blackburn off, and we won.
Having said that I went to a Chelsea - Galatasaray match a few years ago where the crowd sang for the whole first half "Chelsea, fcuk off". Not much singing in the second half though as Chelsea ended up 5-0 winners. Myself and my English mates certainly didn't feel scared though sitting in the Cim Bom stands (although our wives/girlfriends back home certainly did).
