Maybe you should run a sweepstake on how long the next one lasts!

I always get the impression that one of the problems at Newcastle is Shearer and the belief that he is the manager in the wings. Unless he becomes manager Newcastle will struggle with any manager. Of course this does not mean that he will be successful, but until he is tried out Newcastle Utd will not be able to move on.

a friend of mine was speaking to him ( shearer) at the golf club and he said he's not interested he's not ready for it. lets see who the next one is and set a sweepstake for length of service.

I suspect that that job is probably the most poisoned chalice in English football. Why do Newcastle fans put ex-players on such high pedestals and call them messiah? Shearer's continued presence has fcuked up their chances of doing anything ever since he signed for them and continues to do so. He needs taking out of the equation by either taking the job and fcuking it up himself or being dropped into a mile long coal shaft!

Have I missed something here? What are you talking about?

Now I've got your drift (thank you both) , but why would I complain to a cardboard cut-out? Personally speaking, the longer the confusion (I'm sure I should be able to think of something better to say here but can't) at Newcastle goes on the better. That's one less team competing (if you can call it that) for the title.

I hope Shearer doesn't come in as i think it will just be throwing him into the fire. Newcastle are in no condition to compete in a sports day egg and spoon race. Someone should install a cannon at St James Park to give a quicker exit to the managers. Maybe they should install a Big Brother style competition, open the season with a random selection of 8 managers all deciding the team, lock them in the dressing room and through the season see who is left after they have been sacked one by one. The "confusion" has been going on at Newcastle for a decade and hard to see it stopping anytime soon. Only manager i have liked at Newcastle since Keegan was Robson.

I've got to agree with Dave - Robson was a damn good manager, just look at his results. I like the idea for the reality TV Show though. I think you should get in touch with CH4 real quick Dave.

GAZZA !!!!!....he's down in the dunston arms bar, right as we speak. Robson was the best its a pity he was'nt a few years younger as i'd love to have seen him back in control, and by the way .....i have the very last newcastle shirt he ( Sir Bobby ) personally signed ( all the other players are also on it but his is the most important one for me)
