 Turkish football in the news
While it may be a crap season for my team things are going well for Sivasspor. Fingers crossed they will win the league this season.
The Guardian takes a look:

This weekend unfashionable Sivasspor have the chance to put a rocket up the Istanbul hierarchy of Turkish football with a fury not seen since Lagari Hasan Çelebi flew a gunpowder-powered jetpack over the Bosphorus in 1633.

To not draw or lose a game at home this deep into the season is impressive stuff and to only concede 3 goals at home too
..........................(home).................(away)

Sivasspor 19......10 0 0 20 3........4 1 4 12 10 ......19 43

just finished watching the game. Unfortunately FB totally outclassed a Sivas team that were crap. On that showing Sivas desperately need a central defender who can mark people. The first two goals would never have been scored had they had a decent centre-half. Apart from that it was really good to see Kezman score 2 nice goals.

I'm frozen after watching Ankaragucu go down 4-0 to Galatasaray. Why oh why do I go to these matches?
