Its varna and it is so easy to reach there...there are lots of buses from istanbul for 40 ytl and you can have the train too...its 30 ytl...bulgaria is hyper cheap...a glass of vodka is 1ytl  suberb..

nightnurse do not worry tonight or tomorrow I'll give you all the details about bulgaria...transport,where to visit, what to do bla bla bla...when I was there it was superb...and you can visit other cities too..not only varna (sea side). ciao

By train from istanbul - to sofia one way ticket is 1st class 26,80 economy class 18 euro

Sorry, I couldn't find via varna. The last time when I was there, we went to sofia by train and we rented a car there...  I couldn't find any company which goes to Varna directly...
