Post a get-away trip on Kurban Bayram
Could anyone recommend any places to go to (within Turkey) at this time of year? Antalya and the like are deserted and not worth going to this season I reckon? :?:

Cappadochia. Its cold, but crisper than Istanbul and there is lots to do. am not sure how much kurbanning might go on there... if you are a bunny hugger or squeemish it may not do - for the first day anyway.

Get your skis and head for the hills!

About 8 of us are planning on going to Uludağ for 4 days - not checked the forecast yet but will be more snow than Kartalkaya.

Perfect warm up session for Xmas :) :)

See you on the slopes, FBT

if you go to kapadokia look into Sultan ballooning. The owner is super cool (sorry, i just had to use that term) and he speaks English fluently. I know he was planning on going to England for a short period so heck first.
