Forgot to ask - what are the different types of seats like on the ferries? On the Flying Cat, it has business class or economy class. On the others, it has cabins (which we don't need), deck seats, Class A seats, or air seats. What is the difference, apart from the price?

 I have done
this kind of trip between islands. U can book tickets online and get them when u go to first Greek island. U can of course go without reservations, but they might get full (specially the fast boats).
U need at least one stop from Mikanos to Santorini. We had tickets to flying cat (no special seats) but it was so windy we needed to change to normal ferry (and then we were few hours late, nice hotel owner sold our room etc etc).
So, even with good planning u cant be sure.
U better talk with my wife about the details if u want more info.

Thanks jyrays. Ferry schedule shows it stops in Paros & Ios between Mykonos & Santorini, but only for 10 mins each place. Don't like the sound of it being too windy and having to change to regular ferry. But I had heard that schedules were unreliable and companies disappear overnight, which is partly why I thought we would be better booking when we get there each time. I couldn't see any way to pick tix up when we get there, but maybe there's another website. I may email Yasemin about it too.
