28 so far...

The Uffizi was closed when I was in Firenze. I think the Academia was a good substitute. David is a clealy a 'wonder' in marble.

Good work on Stonehenge GBSahne, British workmanship at its best.

Those Petronas Towers aren't bad either!

I've only done 9 apparently, shortly to become 11/12 in the next couple of weeks :D

Darn, this jetlag is annoying...it's 5 am here in SF. My body clock still thinks it's in Hong Kong.

Good to know though that San Francisco made the list. How about that for a city in the western part of the new world? Anybody headed this way soon?

OK, so who's putting us all to shame or in other words who has far too much holiday time that they've been able to visit all 100?

Strangely 32 I thought it would have been more , need to get my skates on , I have the opportunity to increase as there are a few in this fair land I need to visit.

Incredibly , There is No ,Mount ETNA and Toarmina in Sicily ,Boracay and Palawan in the Philippines .

Glastonbury in the month of June has got to be my number 1
Blackpool on any given Saturday , never ceases to amaze me !

19 mostly in Europe.

I was also surprised that Boracay in the Philippines didn't make it, Sal. Big Sur in California should have had an honourable mention, as well as Cheju Island or Kyungju Park in Korea, and the Similan Islands in Thailand. Lastly, the logging highway that cuts through New Brunswick in Canada on the way to my Dad's house should have been on the list! :D

Add Boracay and it would be 29 for me.

So Sal and Cdn Red, you obviously have both been to Boracay Island. Superb. Fantastic white sand beaches! Better than the beaches of Bora Bora, Hawaii, etc.

Twice, in fact! New Year's Eve with a full moon - simply awesome! I especially loved the turquoise water and the great variety of restaurants. Seems like every nationality has settled there to open a restaurant! :)

Gettin' off topic here but WOW, Boracay must have been just awesome with the full moon! I was there last in Dec. 2004 and was caught in a typhoon but I've known about Boracay since the 80's since my uncle used to fly there on a private plane to take in the fantastic scenery and of course, the beach. It was almost deserted then according to him. It's becoming over developed now with a big hotel smack in midstation and more foreigners setting up shop.

My sister and her husband honeymooned in Boracay for a week in 2003 and ended up staying for 3 weeks! They almost returned to open a spa. They're going back in May for some R and R in the Philippines.

I like the food at Friday's + hanging out at Cafe del Mar and Hey Jude.

Boracay is such a wonderful place , the cold white sand is amazing even in the blazing sun , I used to go regularly in the mid 90s as I lived in Manila for a few years.

I will never forget the "air port" on the neighbouring Island , I think it is Catacalan or something with the nipper hut with a hand written sign that says , Emergency services with a list of all available Fire, Accident etc., with a fire bucket , hamock and a cool box full of San Miguel and Coke.

Did you visit Balihay beech on Boracay where the filmed South Pacific , the bar at the top of the cliff where you write your order, ring the bell and they hoist your order up by rope and basket, 10 minutes later lower the basket and Voila you have cold ones and a request for payment.

Wonderful , how that is not in the top10 never mind the top 100 is beyond me.

Salamat po.
