 Saving cash on holiday accomodation
I've recently been looking at various pansion's websites to book some accomodation. They are cheap anyway but you can save some cash by using agencies such as wwwhostelbookers.com or hostelworld.com.
Example the booking direct price was 23 euros a night and the hostelbookers price was 18.5. That's quite a few more beers.
I'm waiting to see if the guesthouse will match the price as I'd rather not give my money to a UK company.

ch...what area are you looking at? i have two friends planning to visit turkey in june and they are asking
about prices. it seems to me, based on where i'm living, that euro 23 a night is a bit high...but that's because we have some inexpensive places here in the region around Assos.

I'm not sure what you consider a ''nice place'' but I stayed at Dolphin Apart-Hotel which was in a convenient location near the marina and bus station. It was clean, reasonably-priced and I'd stay there again. Their website shows 41 Euro (75 YTL) per night. Here is their contact info: http://www.dolphinapart.com/dolphin-s3.html
They had required I pay a deposit to their Garanti Bank account when I made my reservation there, but maybe it was because I stayed a week during high season. Hopefully you wouldn't have to go through the hassle for a weekend in April.
