Just travelled to the UK (Sabhia gokcen - Luton) via Easyjet, really cheap ticket 29 euros only one way but return would have been double at 58( don't panic I will return).

No frills, don't expect any free food or booze; you have to pay for it and it's not that cheap and the quality isn't so good either by the look of it. I suggest that you, like me, take your own sandwiches etc. They have a weird ticketing system i.e no seat numbers are allocated when you check in although the earlier you check in the earlier you get on the plane. this is a weird system and ends up in a bit of a free for all when you board. The plane was 1/2 an hour late but landed 15 minutes late, friendly staff, good for budget travel.

Downside of this airline is that everything is fcuking orange, the plane, seats, magazines and staff (uniforms and false tans) this gets on your tits after a 3.5 hour flight.

 Orange scrunchies? Why the hell are women (and the odd man) still wearing those?
So no problems taking on your own grub and refreshments i.e. lager?

According to their website there is a limit for liquids in hand luggage of 100ml ' (which must be in a see through bag) but I had a couple of 250 ml fruit juice cartons and nobody said anything or noticed when it was scanned. So I don't see why not

The limit for 100ml in your handluggae is only for flights departing in or transferring through the EU. Try having bevvies in your handluggage whilst boarding in a EU-airport and you will be kindly requested to drink it on the spot or discharge it.

Not only EU countries, also all Schengen countries have this max 100ml in seethrough plastick bag too (since early novemeber).
It also applies when flying inland :( The sequity camerea found my bottle of cola that I thought I had forgotten at home (to drink during 40 min tour to airport).

And it's a 100 ml bottle, not 100ml of liquids. So don't bother trying what I did - putting 100 ml of orange squash in a litre bottle, planning to fill it up after security.

The security folk at Stansted ordered me to drink it on the spot, and laughed when I chucked it instead.

Through personal experience, I was under the impression that the 100 ml rule only applied before duty free. Same as the 1 bag policy which is a pain in the arse if you're a girl and have lap top + hand bag but you can but shiteloads at duty free and nobody blinks an eye when you stagger on with 74 carrier bags.
Anyway, last couple of times I flew recently, one of my colleagues was allowed to take on an open bottle of JD both ways and drink as much as she liked on the plane (Both UK to TC and on the domestic flight. I generally despise THY but in these cases they were excellent at providing glasses & ice non-stop throughout the flights) claiming 'fear of flying'. She genuinely was scared, I was genuinely taking advantage (Sorry Rauf - we didn't open yours til Istanbul though).

I flew Tbilisi-Istanbul on the first day this 100ml rule applied, and I was unaware. Georgian customs were eager to behave EU-style. I had two 2l bottles of homemade redwine in my handluggage. That was a very sad day in my not so young life. A pleasant flight though, I can not remember much.

Bodrum Click is right here. The 100ml bottles in see-through plastic bag applies to what you can take through security rather than on the flight. Its a pain in the a*se when all the luggage you have could be taken as hand luggage, but you have to check it in because of your toiletries. Fine for the soap-dodging kind of backpacker, but annoying for the rest of us.

The non-allocated seating can work well if always implemented. I used Southwest Airlines a lot when I lived in the States and they were great. Easyjet is fine out of Luton - they are quite strict about letting people on the plane in the correct order. But coming back to the UK, I've had the same experience as ch, it's a total free-for-all.
