Post Spa Type Hotel?
Looking for a spa type hotel in the Marmaris, Dalyan, etc. area... somewhere that will be good for a girlie weekend offering some treatments.
Suggestions will be appreciated. even if its not in those areas.

I can highly recommend the spa at the Rixos in Antalya for a girlie weekend. It has loads of treatments; Thai massage (in outdoor thatched roof huts) Indian massage, African massage, regular sports massage, hydro treatments, 3 types of steam room - Turkish steam, Swedish sauna, Russian steam (110 degrees hot) a snow room, there's one treatment where you get covered in chocolate but I wasn't sure about that one. There's a fabulous hammam with juice/cay bar inside, low lighting and buddha bar-type bgm, and three bathing rooms - women only, men only and mixed. Chill out areas are suitably restful with low lighting, candles and wafty curtains...........a bit of a Jo Malone moment. The decor is restful, staff friendly and helpful, it's clean and smells lovely.......can't recommend it enough really.
If you bulk-book treatments as soon as you get there (we tryed to pre-book by phone but they wouldn't do that) they give you a discount for multi-bookings.
If you ask they'll give you a tour before booking treatments. Just one note of warning if you're not happy about baring everything to all and sundry. During the tour of the hammam we were only shown the 'womens only' room so when we opted for the 'soapy massage' we were butt-naked and confident under our wraps. When we were taken into the hammam we were led to a door that hadn't been shown on the tour - yep, it was into the mixed hammam and everyone else in there was in swimwear. If it wasn't for the industrial-sized mountain of bubbles squeezed over us........well, it was pretty difficult to relax through that one.
Other than that it was a great place, and I'd highly recommend it.

FYI, an ultimate spa/cleansing/detox thing is available at Chium in Turkbuku, if you visit the area in the future. I had a Balinese massage there. I'd like to do the 5-day detox regimen and try the floatation tank next time.

Hi Yakamoz, I know, not Marmaris, but might be interesting, as it's close to Istanbul: Richmond Nua Wellness Spa in Sapanca.
