i spent a week in zurich in january - can't really make any recommendations but will say that speaking a bit of turkish came in handy at several places. swizterdeutsch is... wow!!
city is sooo easy to get around - if you buy the 24- or 72-hour public transport pass at the airport, you can get discounts at museums or restaurants and bars too.

I was there in March of 2004 visiting good friends who have since moved to Geneve. Zurich's actually a beautiful city. We dined lakeside but I have to ask my friend where she took me. You might like it. It's a very chic restaurant but fun at the same time. She said it is of course better in the summer months. Then apres' ski weekend we partied in a club - again I have to ask her where she and her hubby took me. It was all blurry to me but we definitely had tons of fun! I'll email her shortly.

And another thing, it's Emmenthal cheese that comes from Switzerland. Knob cheese comes from Wales and Baltılimanı
