urgent - need to get bus to kemer country
I just found out that I have to get to the family's house in Kemer Country tomorrow morning for work, and have no idea where to get the bus. I know there is one, as I have seen it when we've been there, and they said the bus stop is right near the house, but it's not listed on the ancient IETT website. Does anyone have any idea?

I found it on the IETT website, but in order to confirm I also called Kemer Country & Golf Club at 0212 239 7010.
Bus line #48 (Mecidiyeköy-Göktürk) passes the club.
Here's a tip on how I found it on IETT:
On the homepage, under 'Hat Listesi', select 'Bul' (which 'hat' is selected is not important)
On the left, you'll see the 'Durak Sorgulama' option. This is an alphabetical list of all bus stops.
Of course, I didn't know the bus stop's name either but I found one for Kemerburgaz which I'm guessing it is. You then click on the stop's name & it gives you a list of the routes which service that stop.
I then googled the country club to get their number & called to confirm that it was the correct bus.
Good luck!

You can take this or leave it, monsta, but whenever I go somewhere for the first time on the bus, I ask the driver or driver's assistant to let me know where the stop is so I don't miss it. In baby Turkish you can say: ''Ben KemerCountry'e gidiyorum. Bana haber verir misiniz?''

you're such a legend. I looked up kemerburgaz under the stop listings, but I didn't realise that where I was heading was in Eyup district, as I thought Eyup was only small area on Halic. But you are right, of course, and it definitely goes to the right place. I will ask the family to find out the name of the stop I need, and I will ask the driver to tell me when we're there in case I don't recognise it. But I have been out there in the car a few times, so should find it ok.
Now I don't have to stay overnight there, as they had suggested the alternative would be.
Hope to see you soon on the football field, when I get my weekends back (I finish up this job on Tuesday, although I will still tutor a few nights a week).

only problem i discovered now is that although the line is called Mecidiyekoy-Gokturk on the line listing, and the stop listing/timetable, when you view the map, the line is called Sisli-Gokturk, and shows that it starts at Sisli Merkez, and doesn't stop at Mecidiyekoy. The bus I will take from home will go to Mecidiyekoy and Sisli Merkez, but I think I will try my luck waiting at the Mecidiyekoy stop, as it's more logical as a starting point than Sisli isn't it, since it's a hub? Stupid out-of-date website...
