Post Finally - some Turkish 'special' hospitality
After weeks, neigh, months of waiting, I finally got hassled by someone on the street! I was beginning to think blondes did indeed have all the fun!

I was there, wandering to the ferry, when I was set upon by an elderly gentleman who insisted on babbling to me in Turkish. He escorted me to the ferry, paid for my ticket and very usefully showed me which boat to board.

How charming!

However, what I really couldn't grasp was the incessant asking for my phone number, the repeated requests to go on a Bosphorus cruise with him today and his continual need to tap me on the shoulder every time he wanted to ask a useless question.

So - this is what you get for using public transport? :?
