 picking daisies
Walking back from Calis Beach (fethiye) with my mommy-in-law, we stopped to admire the impressive garden of a man called 'Tavukcu Nevzat' who kindly gave me cuttings of each flower I commented on. It was a bit difficult getting them home alive on the plane, but I managed.

incidentally, 'picking flowers' (cicek toplamak) is a euphemism for emergency roadside urination.
if you're en route and need to stop, you can tell them you need to pick some flowers....
