That must be Crystal Waters' "Gypsy Woman (She's Homeless)" you're talking about, charly. Except it was "la da dee, la da da..." The U.S. sketch comedy "In Living Color" did a few brilliant spoofs of the song/video listing the myriad channels of their TV to the tune of the la da dee's: "MTV CNN, ABC CBS..." as well as one titled "My Songs are Mindless" with the chorus being "Yabba dabba doo, yabba dabba dah" after the singer had decided she could easily make up a song about Fred Flintstone. |
