Post AKBANK commercial
do any of you well-informed people know who has produced these wonderful
Red and White Akbank commercials? They are quite good...not as much fun
as 'aganagi-naganagi' but they 'work' even if you don't know the language!!

I think it was made by Dinamo Istanbul http://www.dinamo-istanbul.com/ so directed and produced by Turkish minds and Yorum Publicis which i believe is also a Turkish company.

Are they Vampires? Jeez. It's a simple question.

They're Romanian.
They are all in white.
Dracula is Romanian.
There are albino vampires in Richard Matheson's seminal novel I Am Legend.

The dancers in the Akbank adverts are vampires. I rule.

Also, in the most recent ones, what is the shape before the tea-glass supposed to be?

It opened fine for me. It says they also worked on ones for Ford, Lays, Cheetos and Haci Şakir.

I agree, cool ad, but this has been done before. The opening ceremony of the last Winter Olympics featured similar animations with lots of people - e.g. a ski-jumper made up of 467 people - and they also did 'vertical' animations using people suspended on a vertical mesh that made the shape of a dove to symbolise peace. Although the stuff at the Winter Olympics was not as intricate as those in the Akbank ad, it's impressive when you bear in mind that it was done live, not recorded and then edited to look as smooth as in the ad.

The shape just before the tea-glass is a bud with a worm climbing up the side. The bloom then blossoms and the worm turns into a butterfly that flies away. Really, Ali, it's not that difficult to see....or is your eye-sight starting to go along with hair starting to grow on your palms?

Pleasure begets pain, what can I say. And even though I may look like Teen Wolf, I can assure you that I'm not.
