 BBC Prime ?
Hi everyone! Does anyone know what's happened to BBC Prime or how I can watch it? We were picking it up on the hotbird dish but it's disappeared . It looks like Digiturk doesn't have it either. We can't get the PTT cable where we are. Thanks in advance for the info. Cheers .

They changed the frequency a while back, if you go onto their website it may have the info you require.

Tuesday nights, I believe that if you log on to their website you can receive email alerts for your favourite programmes.
Starman - the same is true for Radio 4 and your favourite 'The Archers'

Coolio - Thanks.
I have no idea why BBC Prime is generally so shit, mind you. BBC America is brilliant, in that they show almost everything on the Beeb (so not that brilliant I suppose) about six months after their first British broadcast. The Second Coming, I think, will be sooner than the debut of "Extras" on BBC Prime.

Dont you have something better to do like abuse a donkey or something. A power cut is long over due in Datca I see.

It's shit because it's not actually a BBC channel - it's private but uses the BBC name (and programming) under licence. If I was the Beeb I'd be embarrassed that such poor production was being put out in my name. The announcements are often wrong, the programming is old and repeated endlessly and the fillers such as 'Destination UK' or 'The Wonderful World of...' look like they've been put together in someone's front room.
Still watch it mind...

Is that how they get away with advertising then ??, bearing in mind that the BBC is supposedly funded by TV licenses
