So how are you going to achieve that this year? bearing in mind the text below, taken from BBC Prime's website.
Will you show THE EUROVISION SONG CONTEST?
Sadly we will not be showing live events, such as EUROVISION SONG CONTEST, COMIC RELIEF or THE BAFTA's on BBC Prime anymore. BBC Prime's management has introduced a number of changes to the schedule, which are intended to improve the relevance and appeal of the channel to the widest audience and a decision was taken that we will no longer show live events such as this.

Okay, I HAD to watch it. The urge to mock just overwhelmed me. And what a wealth of material to mock.
where to start?
Sweden's silver-lame alice cooper wannabe singing a decidely unthreatening partridge family-like song replete with "jazz hands".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8AZiQcR7cJI
France's pink and black silk spastic dancers with a swishy mr. clean sporting a plush toy cat over his shoulders.
(couldn't find the actual eurovision performance online)
Oh, and Ukraine...where to start? 50 year old dame edna tranny in mirrorball hat and devo throwbacks for backup
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=awVHDMDAu0A
yikes!
on the other hand, by contrast, Kenan's song didnt seem nearly as trite or pathetic...

I was not very keen on Kenan's song but last night I changed my mind when I listened to others. Plus, a Brit friend of mine was online on messenger and she said Kenan was the best before voting. No wonder we got 12 from UK
Well done Kenan!

Why on earth would you want to congratulate any singer, especially one already established at home, that enters this mass cheese-take?
Beats me.

Please go and check Sertap's song when she won the Eurovision and compare it with Kenans. You will see that it is only what Kenan wore and the lyrics of the song what is different.
They basically did almost the same tune, same rap singing in the middle, same style and number od girls, some fabric games; only Kenan had shorter hair and redder outfit!
he is a little monkey, but it worked, that is a shocker! So, same trick worked. What can I say? Good on them.
