Lost Season III (Based on the Digiturk run)
Is it me or has this season been sucking serious, serious, SERIOUS ass so far?
And what is with Desmond? Has he gone all Nostradamus? Nostra-dumb-ass, more like.

The sweat lodge scene was indeed cringe-worthy. However it was not nearly so cringe-worthy as the scene at the end where John gives his little speech and we see the miraculous introduction of two new characters. That said Charlie seems to have some witty dialogue going on - I guess he must get on well with the writers or something.

He is fcuking Evangeline Lilly in real life, so that deserves some accolades, both on screen and off.
Locke needed to trip in a sweat lodge to tell him to go look for Eko? I'm sure Eko will appreciate the sweat lodge's concern when he comes to.
And I also love the way that every single fcuking character on this show has daddy issues. Even characters assumed by undercover cops to infiltrate a drug plantation.

I watched what I assume was a round up of the series up to now, on Sunday, (I've only caught snippets before) and I am wondering something.
I don't know the character's name, but the portly guy was shown in the scene depicting the first couple of episodes. He was then shown in what I assume was supposed to be a month or two later, in another scene. Why hadn't he lost any weight? Was there a container of chocolate on the plane? Has there been an explanation as to why, even though stranded on an island, his weight has not changed? Is it really true that overweight people have a thyroid problem?

Hurley, the chubby comic relief, has said that he has lost weight (Jorge Garcia, who plays the character, has actually lost about 2 stones since the beginning of the show).
When the Lostaways entered the hatch(which has since imploded), they discovered a huge cellar. Even though they distributed it amongst the survivors, Hurley apparently kept a secret stash. There was also a mysterious food drop half way through season two, and Hurley replenished his failing stocks with junk food he managed to lift while the rest were in a euphoric haze.

So what episode are you guys on with Digiturk? I just watched episode 9 and will be watching 10 next week. Eight was the most interesting one of the season but that's all I'll say. One of my friends who I watch it with is not liking this season either. It isn't holding the suspense in the same way as seasons 1 and 2 but all of the same questions are still there plus a few more so I still find it interesting that way. Will Digiturk pause for 2 months at episode 6 like they did back home or is it pushing through?

We've already seen the first six episodes. By the time Digiturk had aired the sixth episode, the show's mid-season hiatus was over in the US, and we had caught up with the ABC run, which is why Digiturk started showing the first six episodes from the beginning - possibly to give them time to prepare the show for its Dizimax run (which, surely, consists of only subtitling the episodes, and thus not a gargantuan feat to accomplish over a week).
