 Lost
Does anyone watch "Lost"? Are you as hooked in this show as I am? Are you as nonplussed as I at the fact that nobody on the island seems to ask any follow-up questions? Are you as turned on as I by Mistereko's voluptous pair of beautiful man-tits?
(Can we keep this spoiler free please?)

Yep. Plane crash. Wet people (in all senses of the word). Lostzilla. Weird numbers. Inane dialogue. Contrived plotting. Unmissable telly.

I am shocked to hear such language! I thought all lasses from the valley of the Chimney were polite and ladylike

Emma, what do you want to know? I am nerd, hear me roar!
Oh, oh, oh! Hurley kicks ass. Incidentally, he also has a wonderful pair of he-breasts.
And CSI? I hate CSI: Miami (can't stand that supercilious ginger twat) but CSI:NY is quite enjoyable. Quite looking forward to it.

This is how hooked to Lost I am... I didn't read this thread until I had already watched this week's episode (that I record and watch later in the week) just in case there were spoilers!! I love this show! (and will gladly keep this thread spoiler-free) Love John the Bald-Hunter and the Korean couple (love practicing my Korean by trying to guess what they're saying then checking the subtitles - I get about 25% of what they're saying Highly entertaining in its unpredictableness!

Great , cool show and the only thing I watch on TV , I confess to owning the 1st series dvd as well.
The problem I have is that I have only seen 2 episodes of the 2nd series and I am totally LOST
.
Need to start series 2 from the begining me thinks .

I am not a big fan of Locke: I love Hurley though.
"Collision" was a shit episode. I never really got the Ana-Lucia hate so vociferously advocated by virtually everyone I know but really, come on, the writers are not doing a great job making her feel, you know, human. Not even in last night's episode, which had the most inane dialogue the show has ever had, and that's saying somthing, when she and her captain/mother were discussing her being recommisioned to patrol.
AL: I want to be on patrol.
AL's Captain/Mum: No way, Jose.
AL: Ok then; transfer me to another precinct.
AL's Captain/Mum: No way, Jose. You're on patrol.
Ali Arikan: Oh. fcuk. Off.
On the whole, the Tailaways remind me of the "new" Thundercats that they introduced near the end of that show's run. You know what I'm talking about? Like bizarro-world versions of existing characters. Eko is Bizarro-Locke, Libby is Bizarro-Claire and Ana-Lucia is Bizarro-Jack. I really hope the show picks up soon. Haven't felt the love for the past three episodes now.

At the beginning of Season 2, they were stringing the mysteries along just a little too much without actually answering anything and for the past four or so episodes, they seem to have gone the way of total opposite by showcasing the humdrum and the humdrum only. It seems that the show's lost some viewers because of it, but this has in turn made people still watching it a little more patient and willing to stick with it. I think the show might have been a little bit overpraised in its first season -- I like the show, but I don't think it's the greatest thing on television, the that little call to fame goes to the first four seasons of "The West Wing" -- and so there might be a bit of a backlash this season. Despite some complaints I don't think the show is any worse or any less believable or anything than it was last season. I think it's still a pretty good show, definitely the most gripping one around.
Kate? She's a bit useless though, isn't she? It seems the show is divided between dilligently well thought out characters (like Jack, Locke, Hurley) and ludicrous stereotypes (like Boone, Shannon and Charlie). Considering the fate of the first two in the latter group, I wonder if we can expect the same denoument for the friendly hobbit, too...

Good episode last night. Kate's "back story" was a little contrived but nothing we haven't been used to.
I loved the way Mistereko sat Locke down and basically told him: "Let me tell you a little story." It reminded me of Chef from South Park. You could see Locke thinking "Get to the effing point" just as I was thinking: "Taste a little bit of your own medicine, arsefeatures!"
And Hurley's line about Bernard? Great line and even better delivery.
