Post New shows to watch out for!
Kyle XY has been the best out of the bunch so far its a different take on the prodigy child genre.

Heroes, a bit cliche but it shows promise.

Battlestar Galactica third season just might help the show redeem itself. The issues the writing staff are tackling are very fresh and current events like.

Ofcourse for the ladies. If you liked Sex And The City brace for Men In Trees. Guys are not forgotten in these series its a show about relationships in general not just from 30 something ladies perspectives. So far James Mangold and Allison Anders have directed some of the episodes. That means this show is no slouch. Its a slow character development process. Don't expect overtly dysfunctional people in real mocked up situations.

Studio 60

All I have to say is so far it has been a dissapointment.

Jericho

Could be the next alternative to Lost.

Thanks DAI. Men In Trees hasn't enticed me yet. Perhaps bec. the Manhattan skyline, men like Big and Manolos are missing. Anne Heche seems to be carrying it on as the lead actress. I should turn off my ADD (I swtich during commercials) and watch the entire thing one of these evenings. I have yet to get a TIVO.

I do like Six Degrees with Bridget Moynihan and some other interesting characters developing. We'll see if the writers manages to get this to stay afloat.
The Nine got a good heard start and stars that girl who is in 24. It's hailed as one of the top new series here in the US. I haven't seen it yet.

Two girl friends turned me on to "Ugly Betty" and just for the heck of it, I watched it on Thursday. It's clearly doesn't aim for substance and even though it is set in NYC, the lead goes home to Broooklyn. It plays on stereotypes with the minority do-gooder entering the high fashion world where tricks are turned by the minute. You can't help but root for the underdog but you also secretly hope she would somehow get a clue and turn into a beautiful swan. It still manages to entertain. Will definitely appeal more to women than men.

I told myself I will watch less tv this season but instead, I am watching stuff I didn't even care about for the past few seasons.

The Wire is da shit. Is now the number one T.V show on my list.

Mos def!

Also The Shield needs an honorable mention. First season drags a bit but it takes off after that.

I just had the most cringing episode bunch of minutes ago I am sure Arikan would love it though its episode 5 of the third season my pure boy wink wink!

Seriously the hand held camera look, byzantine dynamics are to die for!

I want to watch The Wire; it's fcuking amazing, apparently. I never managed to get into The Shield, haven't watched anything beyond the first six or seven episodes of the first season.
