Anyone watching Oz? Looks like a war is coming, if they can stop humping each other.

I caught it last week for the first time, it's been pretty good so far and worth waiting up for. There is perhaps a little too much visual arse banditry, but the scenes of extreme violence more than make up for this.

I've been watching this when I can (both in U.S. when it first came out and here on Dizimax).

I think it's amazing.

I am still downloading the whole series 36 gigs worth.

I used watch it when I was in U.S.

Got till end of second season.

Watching the first season again is not doing it for me.

I can not beleive I am out of series to watch!

Bloody hell! Last night's OZ was a festival of man love. Scenes of naked men in the showers, guys kissing, smoking the pipe, and even a full on view of a buttock spreading chocolate starfish flash. Has America's religious right finally died and gone to hell?

To make matters worse, the actor from Law & Order Special Victims Unit, you know, the one who goes on about his four daughters all the time and for whom every case is personal, plays a gay psychotic murderer!

Prisoner Cell Block H was never like this!

Um, Mr. Simpson, Prisoner Keller is not gay, only the men he penetrates or who perform oral sex on him are.

Sheesh.

I bet you wish Prisoner Cell Block H was like that, it was a women's prison after all.

No, I bet he wishes Porridge were like that.

Or maybe it was, and we just didn't appreciate the subtext. After all, the lyrics to the theme tune to Porridge's sequel/spin off, Going Straight (hint, hint), went:

All my life I've been
Bent as a corkscrew, bent as an 'air pin,
Bent as a figure eight.
Bent as a wish bone, bent as a bed spring.
Now I'm bent on Going Straight.

Mr. McKay did always have that "I've just been buggered but forgot the lube" scowl on his face, so.......

In last night's Oz it was announced that prisoners agreeing to take part in a drug trial would have their sentences vastly reduced. The drug is one that ages people. The idea being that instead of sending someone to prison for 30 years, you make them older by that amount.

Good idea or not, if ever it becomes possible?

An informative and educational Oz last night. This episode explained the various types of hand made weapons of individual destruction, that can be formed from everyday household objects. I only wish I had seen this while working toward my Cub Scout survival badge.
